Kitten Volunteer

Charleston Animal Society cares for over 15,000 animals each year, and part of that care is finding loving homes for homeless animals. At the Second Chance Resale & Adoption Center we typically have 2 to 8 adorable adoptable kittens keeping our guests company.

We need volunteers who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, clean some litter boxes, and snuggle kittens. The kittens in our care come from all different backgrounds, so some of them are very playful and some of them are quite shy. Our Kitten Volunteers help us with kitten care and socialization. We ask that our volunteers clean litter boxes and cages, feed and water the kittens and spend some time making sure they are comfortable and happy.
